40 Years of Bliss!

September 13, 1966

On this date 40 years ago John and Sandy got married, but our relationship actually began on April 23, 1965 when we had our first date. Back then we were in high school in Munich, Germany.  He was a handsome Senior and I was a shy Sophomore who had just transferred into Munich American High when my Dad got transferred from Crailsheim, Germany to Munich.

"Johnny", as he was called back then, played rhythm guitar in a local band, but his first band was "The Vistells" a high school garage band in Monterey, California.
